What are Certiport exams?

Certiport exams are internationally recognised digital skills and IT certification exams.

They are used by colleges, training providers, and employers to assess practical skills in areas such as:

• Microsoft Office applications
• Adobe digital design tools
• IT and digital literacy fundamentals

Certiport delivers certifications, including:

• Information Technology Specialist
• Adobe certifications
• Microsoft Office Specialist

How Certiport exams work with eCollege and Cenit College

For eCollege learners, Certiport exams are completed through Cenit College, an approved online remote authorised test centre.

This means:

• Exams are completed online
• Exams are supervised remotely by Cenit College
• Exams are delivered using Zoom
• You do not attend a physical test centre

You complete your Certiport exam from your own location, following instructions provided by Cenit College.

Booking your Certiport exam

You do not book your Certiport exam at the start of your course.

Instead:

• You become eligible to book your exam at a specific point in your course
• When you reach this stage, you will be:
  • Given clear booking instructions
  • Provided with guidance on what to prepare
  • Given details of the online exam process

All booking instructions and next steps are shared with you when you are ready to sit your exam.

What to expect on exam day

On the day of your Certiport exam:

• You join a Zoom session at your scheduled time
• You receive access to the online exam environment
• A Cenit College exam supervisor guides you through the process
• Your exam is completed online under live supervision
• Support is available during setup if needed

You receive clear instructions in advance so you know exactly what to expect.
