When you enrol on a course that includes an AWS certification exam, you will register for your exam using your AWS Certification account and schedule your exam through an authorised exam delivery provider (Pearson VUE).
AWS certification exams are delivered through Pearson VUE testing systems, either online (remote proctoring) or at a testing centre.
This process is separate from your course enrolment with us.

Privacy notice for AWS exam registration
When you enrol on a course that includes an AWS exam, you must register directly with Pearson VUE/AWS to sit the exam.
This registration is completed on their systems and is separate from your course enrolment with us.
What personal data is involved
As part of the registration and exam process, you provide your personal data directly to AWS and Pearson VUE.
This may include:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your date of birth
- Your country/region
- Your candidate ID and exam details
- Identification documents (for verification at exam time)
- Exam session data (including logs and results)
- Proctoring data (e.g. video, audio, screen monitoring where applicable)
- IP address and device information
Our role
- We do not collect, receive, or send your personal data to AWS or Pearson VUE for exam registration
We do not control how AWS or Pearson VUE use your personal data
We act only as a training provider and are not involved in the AWS registration or exam delivery process
AWS and Pearson VUE role
AWS and Pearson VUE act as independent Data Controllers for your personal data.
Their responsibilities include:
AWS (Certification Provider)
- Managing your AWS Certification account
- Defining certification requirements and policies
- Issuing your certification and exam results
Pearson VUE (Exam Delivery Provider)
- Processing your exam booking and appointment
- Delivering the exam (online or test centre)
- Identity verification and exam session monitoring (where applicable)
- Generating exam session data and logs

We are unable to action data requests relating to AWS certification or exam-delivery data.
