1. Number of Exam Attempts

If your first attempt at the Certiport exam is not successful, don’t worry. Learners are allowed:

• One initial exam attempt
• Up to two resit attempts, if required

2. What Happens If You Do Not Pass the First Attempt

If you do not pass your first attempt:

Procedure to apply for Adobe and Information Technology Specialist (ITS) Courses

• You must upload and submit your exam result to your eCollege course. This option is available in the Exam Booking topic.

• Once uploaded, the support team will review your exam result. If the exam has not been passed, they will grade the activity so the repeat exam booking form opens.
• In the assignment feedback, you will receive guidance on what needs improvement to increase your chances of passing the resit exam.
• This review process can take up to two working days. You may begin your revision during this period.
• Once the repeat exam booking form is available, please complete and submit your request for a repeat exam.

Procedure to apply for Microsoft Office 365/2019 Courses

• You must confirm your exam result in your eCollege course. This option is available in the Exam Results topic.
• The repeat exam form will automatically open. Please complete and submit the Exam Repeat form.
• Once submitted, the support team will process your request. A separate email will then be sent with details on how to book your exam.

3. Second Resit Attempt

If a second attempt is required (this is rare):

• You will again upload or submit your exam result in Moodle, following the same steps outlined above.

4. Booking Your Resit Exam

Each time you complete an exam repeat booking form:

• You will receive an email from the support team. This email will include:
  • A link to the exam calendar
  • Clear instructions on how to book your exam online

5. Important Notes

• If another resit exam were required after the final attempt, the course would need to be completed again before attempting the exam.
• In this situation, please speak with the support team for guidance.
