Before You Book Your Exam

Technical Requirements

You will need the following.

• A stable broadband connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed
• A laptop or desktop computer running Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS 10.12 or later
• A webcam
• A keyboard and mouse
• Google Chrome as your internet browser
• A screen resolution of at least 1280 × 800
• Only one monitor connected
• Your device must not be in Windows S Mode

Tip
If you use a VPN or antivirus software, it is recommended to disable it during the exam.

Applications Used During the Exam

Your exam uses two applications.

1. Zoom
   Used by the proctor to supervise your exam. You may join Zoom on a second device such as a mobile phone.
2. Certiport Virtual Learning Environment
   Used to complete the exam on your main computer.

Additional Requirements

Identification

You must present valid photo identification.

• Passport
• Driving licence
• PPS card

Certiport Account

You must have a Certiport account before your exam.

• If you already have an account, ensure you know your username and password
• If you do not have an account, create one at https://app.certiport.com/portal/
• Ensure you register for the correct programme

Exam Environment

• Use a quiet and private space
• Allow at least 40 minutes before the exam start time for setup
• No other devices are permitted except the phone used for Zoom
• Notes, paper, pens, and recording devices are not allowed
• Close all other applications and browser windows

How to Book Your Certiport Exam

1. Open the exam booking calendar using the link provided in your booking email
2. Enter the password provided in the email
3. Select an available date and time
4. Complete all required booking information
5. Select Book Now

You will receive confirmation and reminder emails. Please check your spam folder.

Cancelling an Exam

If you cannot attend your scheduled exam and are within the cancellation window, email:
