A maximum of three diagnostic attempts is available for each module.

Minimum diagnostic score

  • To proceed to an ICDL exam, you must achieve a minimum score of 85% in the relevant diagnostic test.
  • The diagnostic test ensures you are ready for the exam and identifies any areas that require further study.

If you did not reach 85%

If your diagnostic score is below 85%, you should prepare before attempting again.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open your diagnostic test report using the test link
  2. Review the areas where your score was below the required standard
  3. Revisit the relevant video lessons and study those sections carefully
  4. Complete all associated exercises and quizzes
  5. When you feel confident, attempt the diagnostic test again

Important

Taking time to review your weaker areas will improve your chances of passing the diagnostic and succeeding in the final exam.

Diagnostic attempt limits

  • You have a maximum of three attempts for each diagnostic test
  • It is important to prepare fully before each attempt, as attempts are limited

What happens after three attempts
